Ms. Brady's 3rd Class have just completed their 6 week block of cycling this year.

Stone Age Art

Did you know that Stone Age people discovered:

• how to make tools and weapons
• that rubbing animal fat on one's skin helps to keep out the cold
• how to make a type of boat
• nappies
• farming methods
• how to make pottery from clay
• animal-fat lamps
• how to move large stones by rolling them on tree trunks
• that the shortest year of the year is December 21st?

We drew images to depict each of these discoveries.

Library Visit

Ms Burns' Class visited the library last week. They exchanged their books using their library cards.

Art

We mixed black and white paint with various colours to create different shades and tints. We created beautiful collage pictures.
